“I am a person who is learning to…”
Hello Reader, You know that messy middle when you’re learning something new? I’ve definitely been there. That feeling of uncertainty—where you feel mediocre and are wondering if you ever will excel at this skill —is tough. We don’t talk about it enough, but it’s something so many of us face. And especially if you have perfectionist tendencies, it’s easy to feel stuck. That learning period, where I’m just not proficient yet, can feel frustrating and downright demoralizing. I make it worse by telling myself things like, “I’m not good at writing,” which only chips away at my confidence. That kind of self-talk can be a huge barrier, making it even harder to stay motivated and push through those tough stages. So, I’ve started shifting my self-talk and saying, “I’m learning to be an inspiring writer.” It’s all about possibility and potential—it keeps me focused on growth instead of what I can’t do right now. Where are you holding yourself back by telling yourself, ‘I’m not good at this’? What if you tried saying, ‘I’m learning’? Reply and let me know—I’d love to hear where you’re at, and I’m always here to help! Warmly, Jossie Here’s how I can help…Whether you’re looking for guidance, support, or just a bit of inspiration, here’s how we can connect:
