How I’m Ditching Stress and Thriving in 2025 (You Can Too!)
|
Hi Reader, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Mine was especially memorable—my aunt flew in from Puerto Rico, and we spent the holiday exploring Santa Cruz and San Francisco. The weather was perfect: sunny skies and not a trace of fog, even at the Golden Gate Bridge! It was so nice to soak in the sunshine and spend quality time with family. Coming back from that break, I’ve been thinking a lot about how to carry that sense of clarity and calm into the new year. As leaders, it’s so easy to feel overwhelmed by everything on our plates—constant meetings, Slack notifications, and the endless to-do list. But I’ve learned that the key to thriving isn’t working harder; it’s working smarter. That’s why I’m focusing on four strategies to start 2025 off right: Eliminate, Automate, Batch, and Delegate. These principles have helped me streamline my workload, reduce stress, and focus on what really matters, and I know they can do the same for you. Here’s a sneak peek:
If you’re feeling overwhelmed as we head into 2025, take a deep breath and start small. Maybe eliminate one meeting this week, or explore a tool to automate a repetitive task. These little changes can lead to big transformations. And remember: You are your most valuable resource. Prioritize your well-being. I like to schedule meetings for 25 or 50 minutes instead of the full half-hour or hour, giving myself time to reset between calls. These tiny breaks keep me energized and focused throughout the day. What’s one step you’ll take to make 2025 your most productive and balanced year yet? Hit reply—I’d love to hear from you! Cheering you on, P.S.
